Ending The Year Strong

Kudos to the people that keep on pushing along towards the finish line of this year. The momentum that you take in the last few weeks will carry on to the next year.

When I was younger I was a person full of bad habits. One of those habits was that I never saw things through on certain goals I started or even certain projects, because I would get so discouraged on how everything was going. But the more I would get up and try again, maybe at a different perspective and different mindset, but the goal was to just to see things through and if doesn't end up the way I thought things were going to be then I would have to chalk it up to a learning expereince. Here's a few things to consider if you're having trouble reaching that metaphorical finish line.

Do Not Be So Hard On Yourself

This is a common thing that we all do, especially when we try to accomplish something that we set for ourselves, but life happens and we take it on ourselves to take on the burdens of faliure, when you should just be focusing on finding ways to get to that goal. I know it can be hard sometimes to stop the self loathing on things, but once you can get over that obstacle by forgiving yourself and get to work the quicker you'll be on track to finishing.

Action Is Better Than Inaction

I've been in situations where I held off on something because I thought I needed more time to do it. In some cases that might be true but action creates clarity and that's what we need to do if we want to get things done and have a clear path to our goals. We might be afraid to fail at it but the receipes are in the faliures. Just remeber quicker decison, quicker faliures and faster results. Nike's slogan: Just Do It.

Fall In Love With The Journey

You probably heard this before, Fall In Love With The Journey, Not The Destination. Even though the year is ending and you feel like you won't reach your goals anytime soon. Just know as long as your on your path that you will eventually get there. If you focus on the journey and take it one day at a time you'll eventually end up where you planned to be. Just do not give up and keep moving forward and carry that momentum on to the next year. Then you'll be able to look back and wonder at how far you came.

In conclusion, I hope some of these statements can help you gain perspective or helps reaffirm what you already know about yourself. Sometimes we can get off track on something we set for ourselves but it's really up to us to hold ourselves accountable for seeing it all the way through, so with that said. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and if you enjoyed it, don't forget to leave a like or comment, If you didn't like it, feel free to express what you feel! Either way I hope you have a great day!
