When it comes to tend of things I usually think about how everything started in the beginning of it. Now that we reach towards the end of the year this is really our chance to reflect on the year as a whole and try to plan for something better for future.
Poem by Savita Tyagi
Out With The Old In With The New
There are many things that you'd like to hold on to, and although there are a lot of good things to keep. We have to make sure that we make room for the new things to take its place. Growth can be an uncomfortable process but a necessary one. It does not really need to be seen as a negative thing either, if you look at the positives and just recognize things for what they are instead of what they could have been. Then you are on the right track for a positive change in your life.
Recognizing Mistakes
As I talk about Growth being an uncomfortable process. I like to think about all the mistakes I have made and try to build off of them. The first step in solving a problem is recognizing there is one. A saying that I try to come back to from time to time, and although I may miss out on trying to solve the problem other than to add more fuel to the fire in certain situations, it doesn't hide the fact that once I can firmly recognize a mistake I can start taking accountability for it.
Setting Goals
I must admit, I set goals but never keep track of them. I am guilty of that and always have tried to make excuses for it. It is a painful thing to look back on, and another thing that I'm working on. However, when I do set a goal and achieve it, I never really give myself enough credit. So if you're reading this and you do same thing, please remember to be kind to yourself and take it one day at a time. Next thing you know you will reach your goal before you even know it.
Conclusion
As I look back on the year that is coming to an end, I am taking in everything and learning on how to move forward with my life and trying to figure out how to become better. Setting goals to motivate me in the future and figuring out ways to achieve them. Making room for new things to grow.
